The way in which water policy can be used to improve public health is not something that's touched on enough. I feel people have suddenly got the issue in their heads with all this stuff around Thames Water, but prior to that there was deadpan silence on the topic. I was a bit hesitant to talk about the issue because it sounded like I was some kind of mad conspiracy theorist!
We spoke to Akhila about…
💡 Her decision to study a degree in Public and Social Policy
🌍 Her interest in climate change and where this came from
💧 The work she has done in the area of water policy
🏛️ Her experience engaging in political lobbying
🎤 Her advice for anyone passionate about a certain cause
