1. Stellantis, the owner of Vauxhall, Peugeot, and Citroën, warned that its UK car plants in Ellesmere Port and Luton might close within a year unless electric vehicle demand increases and the UK government eases regulations, particularly the zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) mandate.

2. The European Commission accused Microsoft of illegally bundling its Teams app with its Office 365 suite, potentially leading to a significant antitrust fine, the most serious since its €561 million fine in 2013, with the Commission concerned about the competitive disadvantage to rivals like Slack and ongoing regulatory scrutiny despite Microsoft’s initial efforts to unbundle Teams.
